About

Born in DTLA. Built for Creators.

01

The origin

A Venue for Work That Does Not Fit Anywhere Else

The Kult LA opened in 2024 inside a historic Downtown Los Angeles building with one goal: create a venue where cinema, performance, art, business and celebration could coexist.

The result is a multi-level space at 251 S. Main Street — a theater on the ground floor, a VIP mezzanine above it and a rooftop terrace over Downtown.

The building

Roughly a Century of Downtown

The venue occupies a historic building approximately 100 years old. Its architecture, textures and proportions are part of every event held inside it.

The creative mission

Independent Energy, Professional Room

Filmmakers, performers, curators and brand teams get a room with real technical capability — projection, THX-certified audio, a stage and a green room — without the rigidity of a traditional venue.

Theater, Mezzanine, Rooftop

The spaces

Theater, Mezzanine, Rooftop

Three levels that can operate as one continuous event or as distinct environments across a single evening.
